This policy explains how AussnestWA Pty Ltd (ABN 79 701 269 829, ACN 701 269 829) (“AussnestWA”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information. We are a residential cybersecurity assessment service operating in Western Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
To book and deliver your assessment, prepare your report, provide ongoing monitoring where you subscribe, respond to enquiries, issue invoices, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Where you engage a service that includes authorised penetration testing, that testing is carried out only with your signed consent and within an agreed scope. Findings about vulnerabilities in your home are sensitive; we store them securely and share them only with you unless you ask us otherwise or the law requires disclosure.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise a privacy concern. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
